Next week we open our Main Stage Season with Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, a romantic play about Frankie, the love-worn waitress, and Johnny, the gregarious short order cook.  After a one night stand Johnny is sure that he and Frankie are soul mates and each other’s perfect mate.  Frankie needs some convincing. It’s a play about lowering your defenses and loving again.

Chip Egan, who directed Cat on a Hot Tin Roof last season, directs Daniel Murray and Carrie Ann Collins in this two person intense love affair. Daniel and Carrie Ann are two of the best actors in the area and it is exciting to see them together for the first time.

Opening night is August 17th and runs until September 1st.  Thursday through Saturday performances start at 8pm and Sunday matinees are at 3.
