Mae and I went last night and highly recommend this production to all.  It is sold out this Friday night and its run ends next weekend.

It is all too easy to forget WWII and the impact on the Jewish families trapped in Europe.

The play is well written, staged, directed and beautifully acted with some amazing local talent.

The set is wonderful and as it is a theatre in the 75% round it is almost like you are hiding in the annex space with them.  The actors never leave the stage, just as they could never leave their hiding place (even at intermission).

The audience is spell bound and quiet, caught up in the life of an exuberant teenager and the frightening circumstances of the plight of the Jews.

The 17 year old actress who plays Anne is truly amazing, as you never doubt for a minute that this is the real Anne Frank.
