A key day at The Warehouse!

Well folks, today The Warehouse Theatre was finally re-keyed!  That means that if you were a Journeyman six years ago you may as well throw away the key you’ve been keeping in your pocket, waiting for the day you return to Greenville to sneak in and take a Diet Coke from concessions.  That’s gonna be $1, pal, and you’ll have to wait for office hours!

Another key thing that happened today, thanks to the wonderful Shannon Robert, is that we finally have posters in our marquis! (Or mar-KEY, to keep with the theme.  My god, I’m preposterously dorky.  Dor-KEY?  STOP.)  Be sure to drive by and check it out!

And while you’re driving by, you may as well stop in to the box office to purchase a ticket for KRAPPS LAST TAPE, which is running for one final weekend: Friday 9/26 @ 8pm, Saturday 9/27 @ 8pm, and Sunday 9/28 @ 3pm.  Only $10 for a ticket, $5 if you print out the listing on the Warehouse Theatre Facebook page!  HOLY KRAPP!

If you’re not a member of our Facebook page, you can join by going to: http://www.new.facebook.com/profile.php?id=676866603&v=feed&story_fbid=36065623351#/group.php?gid=20612392499&ref=ts

There we will be posting information about auditions, upcoming performances, volunteer calls, and discounted tickets!

Hope to see you this weekend!  Our next push is the 2nd Annual HAUNTED HOUSE!  Which is always a rip-roaring good time!

Reckless Understudy Performance A Smash Success!

Hiya folks,

We just finished the understudy performance for Reckless, and I just wanted to say how proud I am of Lauren Dykes, David Ryan, and Jennifer Weinreich for all the hard work they put in and the performances that they gave!  It was really wonderful to see them on stage, giving their own interpretations of these three extraordinary roles.  Congratulations, guys!

It would be ridiculous of me not to thank the other two Journeymen, Nick Simon and Jason Shipman, for all of their hard work as well these past few months.  Not only were they acting in Reckless and travelling with Wooden O’s Romeo & Juliet, they acted as joint tech directors for Reckless.  All five Journeymen have had crazy Novembers and Decembers, with work days topping out at 12 hours almost constantly, and I want to thank them for all their incredibly hard work and dedication in making Reckless what it is.

What I guess I’m trying to say is this: If you see them in the street, buy them a beer.
